This short video is a roadmap to the Learn to Skate program. Get a bird’s eye look at the overall program so you know what to expect and how to make it work best for your needs.

Provides background information, answering common questions for new skate skiers like what are the 5 skate techniques, how do skate skis work, and why is it hard. All theory, no ski lessons or drills.

Designed for beginner skate skiers, this course teaches how to push and glide a skate ski and how to double pole. You’ll also learn the skate technique called Free Skate and the classic technique, Double Poling.

The focus of this lesson is on the lower body and how to make the legs and skis work on the uphills. Most of the lesson teaches uphill, no poles skate skiing. The final lesson teaches how to use the poles for Diagonal Skate technique.

Learn how to coordinate the pole pushes and skate pushes for One Skate and Two Skate, which are called V2 and V2-Alternate in the U.S.A.

The second of two beginner uphill skate progressions. Teaches timing and poling for Offset (V1 Skate). Prerequisite: you can skate ski uphill without poles.
