The best way to get fitter, faster and to improve your health is to exercise at different levels of intensity, called training zones.
But training zones can be tricky. It’s not always easy to tell what zone you’re in or to know when and why to train in different zones.
Coach Dasha designed this mini challenge as a hands-on way for masters skiers to improve their zone training and to share how elite skiers use zones in training and racing.

“It was hard enough to be worth doing, but not too difficult. I have been injured much of the summer so it helped get my birkie training back on track.”
“I enjoyed the daily emails, videos with explanations and encouragement, reminders about zones.”
“It was a good opportunity to sample the different exertion levels in a structured context, not just doing the same routines, day after day.”
“I learned so much each day! I never even looked heart rate prior to this challenge to see what zone I was in. I really enjoyed learning about each zone and becoming more aware of what zone I am in when I workout.”
“The instructions were great, the videos were very helpful in understanding the different zones ”
