Dahria, a two-time Olympian in Cross Country Skiing, was part of the Canadian National team from 2010 to 2023. She began skiing at age three in Whitehorse’s Jackrabbits program.
By age ten, she had “narrowed” her sports interests to soccer, orienteering, running, skiing, and figure skating. During this time, she also started playing volleyball and basketball at school. She is a national champion in skiing and orienteering, but skiing was always her primary passion.
Her first ski competition outside Yukon was at nine years old, beginning her journey in competitive skiing. Her first national championship win was in Duntroon, Ontario, in 2009. Since then, Dahria has earned 24 medals at the Canadian Ski Nationals.
She has represented Canada in various international competitions, including the Olympics and World Cup races. Her career highlights include a 15th place in a World Cup in Canmore and a 13th place in the 2018 Olympic Team Sprint.
Since retiring from ski racing, Dahria is completing her Bachelor of Management degree at Athabasca University. She’s also pursuing her NCCP Comp Dev coaching certification through Nordiq Canada.
Outside of academics, her interests include the outdoors, mountain summiting, food, and animals. Dahria has been designing her own training plans since age 23. She actively mentors junior athletes in Yukon and Alberta.
